As a homeowner here — and a mom with two busy boys running in and out all day — I’ve come to see spring as more than just a season. It’s our annual home reset.

Alberta winters are tough on houses. Freeze–thaw cycles, chinooks, heavy snow, deep cold. Whether you’re planning to stay long-term or considering selling in Cochrane this year, spring home maintenance protects both your family and your property value.

Here’s what every Cochrane homeowner should check before summer arrives.
